Frequently Asked Questions
How is the tune delivered and flashed to my car?
All ECU and TCU flashing is done remotely using the Jackal Tuning Cable and suite. Once you have the cable, you can flash your vehicle from home. The purchase also includes the ability to switch freely between stock and any stage tune at no additional cost.
What stage is right for my build?
Stage 1 is for stock vehicles or those with a catback exhaust and/or intake. Stage 2 requires a full exhaust, high-flow catted or catless downpipes, and a ported intake manifold. Stage 3 adds Bosch EV14 550cc injectors. Stage 3+ is for full bolt-on cars with upgraded fuel pump, filter, and EV14 injectors running E85.
Do you offer tuning for supercharged or turbocharged B6/B7 S4s?
Yes. Jackal offers full custom tuning for all supercharged and turbocharged B6/B7 S4 setups. Every major supercharger kit has been re-tuned by Jackal, delivering substantial power gains and improved drivability over the kit-provided software.
