Overview
Jackal Motorsports' C6/C7 A6/A7 3.0 TFSI tune delivers fully updated ECU calibrations as of January 2025, featuring completely new maps for smoother drivability, increased power output, and faster, crisper shifts across all stages. Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 2+ tunes are available — including Water Meth Injection (WMI) variants and E40 support for dual pulley setups — with full custom tuning support also on offer. TCU tuning is included as a full package with every purchase for both C6 and C7 platforms, covering ZF6 (C6) and ZF8 (C7) transmissions.
Unlike competitors, Jackal Motorsports allows free stage swapping at any time after purchase — switch freely between stock and any tuned stage with no additional charges. In-house flashing and remote flashing via the Jackal Tuning Cable are both supported. Auto Start/Stop is disabled in all tune files on applicable vehicles, and upgraded throttle body maps are available with full support for IE, APR, and Jackal TB adapter harness setups (no repinning required with the Jackal harness).

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the tune include TCU/transmission tuning for both C6 and C7?
Yes. TCU tuning is included as a full package with every purchase. C6 owners receive a ZF6 tune and C7 owners receive the ZF8 tune — both included at no extra cost.
Can I upgrade my stage later without paying again?
Yes. Once you purchase a tune and cable from Jackal Motorsports, you can freely switch between stock and any available stage at any time for free — there are no additional stage upgrade charges.
I have a 034 throttle body — do I need anything extra?
Yes. Customers with a 034 throttle body will need to purchase the Jackal TB Adapter Harness (available at checkout) to use the upgraded throttle body maps — no repinning is required with the Jackal harness. Customers with IE or APR throttle bodies do not need to purchase an additional harness or do any repinning.
What spark plugs are recommended, and what gap?
NGK BKR8EIX spark plugs gapped to 0.026" are recommended for all staged tune files. These are available directly on the Jackal Motorsports website.
I'm currently on a different tune — can I switch to Jackal?
