Overview
The stock center support bearing carrier holds the driveshaft in place with rubber so thin about 20 lbs of force moves it from center to the end of its travel. While that's great for making sure no NVH makes it to the cabin, the stock bushing is extremely prone to failure, especially in harsher climates and on higher-powered cars. When the bushing lets go, it leads to excessive vibrations and clunking which can damage the transmission and rear diff. To make matters worse, the stock carrier is molded onto the non-serviceable center support bearing, leading to costly driveshaft replacement.
This upgraded unit keeps the driveshaft firmly in place at all times, and its polyurethane construction ensures it will never wear out. The thick bushings ensure the driveshaft cannot move from center, maintaining driveshaft alignment at all times.

Features & Benefits
Polyurethane ConstructionBuilt from polyurethane throughout, this carrier will never wear out the way the factory rubber bushing does, even in harsh climates or on high-powered builds.
Eliminates Driveshaft MovementThick bushings prevent the driveshaft from moving off-center under load, maintaining precise driveshaft alignment at all times.
Protects Transmission & Rear DifferentialBy eliminating the excessive vibrations and clunking caused by a failed stock carrier, this upgrade protects downstream drivetrain components from premature wear and damage.
Custom Isolator BushingsAfter extensive design iterations, custom isolator bushings were developed to separate the carrier from the vehicle body and mounting hardware, substantially reducing NVH compared to a solid upgrade.
Two Bushing Options AvailableStreet and Track bushing variants are offered to suit your driving priorities — and since they are fully interchangeable, you can run both and swap as needed.
Serviceable DesignUnlike the factory unit where the carrier is molded directly onto a non-serviceable bearing, this upgraded design avoids the costly full driveshaft replacement scenario associated with stock carrier failure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the stock center support bearing carrier fail?
The stock carrier uses very thin rubber that allows approximately 20 lbs of force to move the driveshaft from center to the end of its travel. This rubber is extremely prone to deterioration, particularly in harsh climates and on higher-powered vehicles, eventually leading to vibrations, clunking, and potential drivetrain damage.
What happens if I leave the stock carrier and it fails?
A failed stock carrier causes excessive vibrations and clunking that can damage both the transmission and rear differential. Additionally, because the stock carrier is molded directly onto a non-serviceable bearing, failure typically requires a costly full driveshaft replacement rather than a simple bearing swap.
Which bushing option should I choose — Street or Track?
The Street bushings absorb most of the drivetrain NVH and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles. Some light NVH in the form of a soft hum may be present at certain speeds, though it is unlikely to be noticeable with a modified exhaust or open windows. The Track bushings are designed for no-compromise drivetrain performance and may produce a substantial amount of cabin noise. If you are unsure, both options are interchangeable so you can try each and decide.
Are the Street and Track bushings truly interchangeable?
Yes. Both bushing options are fully interchangeable within the same carrier, so you can purchase both and swap between them depending on whether you are heading to the track or driving on the street.
Does this upgrade eliminate all NVH?
Custom isolator bushings were developed through extensive design iterations specifically to separate the carrier from the vehicle body and mounting hardware, substantially reducing NVH. The Street bushing option absorbs most drivetrain NVH, with only light noise possible at some speeds. The Track bushing option prioritizes performance over noise isolation and may produce noticeable cabin noise.
