Overview

This complete Multi-Port Injection (MPI) system adds port injection to the Audi 3.0T TFSI supercharged engine, solving the direct injection carbon buildup problem while unlocking substantial power gains on E85. CNC-machined components are designed to fit under the factory supercharger on B8/B8.5 S4, S5, Q5, SQ5, and C6/C7 A6, A7, A8, and Q7 platforms — no clearance issues, no supercharger removal required. Proven to deliver 560+ horsepower on E85 with a completely stock supercharger.

The Audi 3.0T TFSI relies solely on direct injection, which causes progressive carbon accumulation on intake valves. This MPI system sprays fuel directly onto the intake valves, keeping them clean while providing the additional fueling capacity that E85 and high-power applications demand. It is essential for any 550+ HP build, ported blower combinations, or anyone looking to eliminate recurring walnut blasting services. Please note: this product is currently out of stock and being manufactured — estimated delivery mid February.

Features & Benefits
Eliminates Intake Valve Carbon BuildupPort injection sprays fuel directly onto the intake valves, preventing the carbon accumulation that is inherent to direct-injection-only 3.0T engines — eliminating the need for regular walnut blasting services.
Unlocks Full E85 PotentialDirect injection alone cannot flow sufficient fuel for E85 at high power levels. This MPI system provides the supplemental fueling capacity required, enabling 560+ HP on E85 with a stock supercharger.
Proven +51 HP on E85 (Stock Blower)Dyno-verified 560 HP / 550 lb-ft on E85 vs. 509 HP / 500 lb-ft on the IE E40 baseline tune — a gain of 51 HP and 50 lb-ft with no other hardware changes.
Fits Under the Factory SuperchargerAll CNC-machined components and pre-bent aluminum hardlines (Option 2+) are engineered to install cleanly beneath the stock supercharger with no clearance issues and no supercharger removal required.
Drag Strip ValidatedReal-world performance confirmed with a 7.25 @ 98 MPH in the 1/8 mile on a full-weight manual 2010 S4, progressing from 7.64 on an E40 tune to 7.25 on the MPI E85 calibration across documented test sessions.
Scalable Kit Options for Every Build LevelFive configurable options ranging from bare CNC components for custom plumbing builds to a complete plug-and-play package with controller and injectors — with an off-the-shelf Jackal E85 tune in active development.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the 3.0T need port injection to run E85?
The Audi 3.0T TFSI uses direct injection only. At high power levels on E85, the factory direct injectors cannot flow enough fuel to meet engine demand. Port injection supplements the direct injection system with additional fuel delivery capacity, making E85 compatible and supporting 550+ HP builds.
Which kit option is right for my build?
Option 1 is suited for builders who already have injectors and plan custom plumbing. Option 2 adds pre-bent hardlines for a cleaner install. Option 3 includes flow-matched 550cc injectors. Option 4 adds the Split Second controller with a base map for a near-complete solution. Option 5 (price TBD) will include an off-the-shelf Jackal E85 tune currently in development.
Is tuning required after installation?
Yes — tuning is required for proper and safe operation of this system. An E85 tune is strongly recommended to take full advantage of the MPI system. Option 4 includes a Split Second controller preloaded with a base map; final calibration by a qualified tuner is still required.
Is the Split Second controller in Option 4 compatible with 750cc injectors?
Not at this time. The Split Second controller included with Option 4 is not yet compatible with 750cc injectors. If you require 750cc injectors, select Option 3 and source a compatible controller separately. 750cc injectors are available upon request.
What were the actual dyno and drag strip test conditions?
Baseline (IE E40 tune): 509 HP / 500+ lb-ft at –500 ft DA. E85 MPI (stock blower, stock throttle body): 560 HP / 550+ lb-ft at +300 ft DA. E85 MPI with ported blower and 82mm throttle body: 573 HP / 549 lb-ft at +1,011 ft DA. Additional mods on all runs: 203/57 pulley ratio, Merc Racing HX with divorced system, ECS intake, headers with stock exhaust, no WMI or chiller. Drag strip: 2010 S4 6-speed, full weight — progressed from 7.64 @ 93.98 MPH (E40) to 7.25 @ 98.64 MPH (MPI E85) across three test dates at the Mooresville NC 1/8-mile track.
