**UPDATED Review**

Building off my recent review below. I just wanted to add that I received the final cost to replace the broken level sensor.

Because the rear subframe had to be dropped in order to access the mounting bracket for the sensor, the total cost of this job was $4265. Fair warning to all C7.C7.5/D4/D4.5 owners, if you make the same mistake as me and break the 2-cent ball link, this is the cost of your mistake.

Problem
Installation started off smoothly—the front two leveling assemblies were fairly easy to complete. The issue arose when moving to the rear links. After removing the OEM links, it became extremely difficult to get the link “balls” to properly seat into the TGK links.

We initially attempted installation by hand, but when that didn’t work, we tried several methods to assist, including WD-40, squeeze clamps, and ultimately vice grips. Unfortunately, none of these approaches were successful. After about 45 minutes of trying, the green ball on the leveling arm snapped off—something I was concerned might happen given the amount of force required.

At that point, the vehicle had to be towed to the dealership. While the part itself is relatively inexpensive, the repair requires recalibration and labor, bringing the total cost to around $1,400.

My goal is simply to help others avoid a similar situation. In my case, it seems likely that a combination of tight tolerances and possibly material expansion made installation much more difficult than expected. It’s also possible the OEM plastic component played a role.

Takeaway
Just something to be aware of before attempting installation. Based on this experience, I’ll be going with a lowering module instead of links in the future.

Great product to fit anyone's taste when it comes to drop height!

If you are going to lower your car, might as well be with some sexy TGK Billet parts! I only wanted to lose a little more than an inch and these did the trick! Install video did a great job explaining how to get the exact amount of drop I was looking for as well as showing how to get the old links off without snapping off the plastic balls! Another great product and happy TGK customer!
